You may recall from an earlier post that we decided to experiment this year by growing a tomato plant in the greenhouse at Redd Acres Farm. As you can see, the tomato plant is doing quite well in it’s warm environment.
Actually, that is only ONE of the plants in the greenhouse… Our enthusiasm got the better of us and we ended up with 2 tomato and 2 pepper plants!
The pepper plants are large and are already forming flowers. The tomato plants are approx. 1 month ahead of the ones we started in the basement. If all goes well we should be picking a tomato in early June, with peppers following a bit later.
