Besides vegetable gardening one of our passions has been photography. Our friends at Gardening Gone Wild are conducting a Rose photo contest this month and it prompted us to go through our files and come up with this gem to submit!

This photo of an unidentified yellow rose was taken in our backyard in the early morning just as the dew was disappearing — if you look close you can see one or two final drops of dew hanging on. This photo has always made us feel calm for some reason. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
